Activate Events a full-service Production, AV and Event Management agency commissioned GFG to target and effectively engage with leading plc companies both in the UK and Europe.
With an exceptional knowledge of senior ‘event buyers’ within the Corporate market – both within the UK and Europe – this five days eighteen-month assignment involved our senior Consultant undertaking the following work: –
- Prospect research – investigated companies who may or could need the services of Activate –involving between 35 and 50 phone calls a day
- Lead generation – identified senior decision makers including key stakeholders involved in commissioning agencies such as Activate
- Nurturing/building relationships – developed and established an on-going communication with prospect clients which led in some cases, to ‘credential’ meetings.
Output & Results
Within the first six month, our Consultant undertook a considerable amount of research and groundwork, which in turn led to fourteen credentials meetings/presentations. As a result, Activate received nine formal tenders (RFI/RFQ’s) and won 4 solid new contracts with SAP, Severn Trent, Turley and Abbvie worth in excess of £500k a year.
